One of the biggest misconceptions about therapy is that it’s only meant for when one feels mentally overwhelmed. Yes, it may be true that the majority of people seek therapy during those moments, which is perfectly valid. But that isn’t the only reason therapy exists. Okay, think about the way people go for routine physical health checkups even if they’re not sick, just to ensure their physical health is intact. The same applies for therapy.
